Mimi Boston: Paper & Ink

Please join us for an exhibition of new works by Mimi Boston.

Mimi is a Master Gardener with a deep interest in nature. Many of Mimi's subjects are botanically-inspired (she loves trees).

Mimi began her career as an artist working in fused glass and has shown her work at many venues including Magic City Art Connection and the Alabama Craftsman show at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Works in this show have been created via a variety of print processes including woodblocks, intaglio, photo-intaglio, and monoprint; combining and experimenting freely. Her attitude is inventive.

Mimi is a founding member of Paperworkers Local and has really been the main force behind our group. While every member of our group makes a big contribution of time and energy, we wouldn’t be here today without Mimi. As a group we have watched the evolution of her work over the last four years and we are very excited to exhibit these new works.

Mimi Boston’s show opens August 3 from 5-7pm at 2717 Seventh Ave South.
